Terms and Conditions
In order to reserve a place in one of our courses, a non-refundable deposit of €35,00 is payable covering materials which need to be ordered for your participation and administration. Registration is confirmed at the time of payment and not before.
Full payment for the course is due at the latest on the first day of tuition. Late payments will incur a €10,00 fee.
Tuition for all Kindermusik classes is non-refundable. A trial lesson is available before registration for this purpose. Part tuition refunds or credit vouchers may be given in the case of exceptional circumstances. All such refund requests must, however, be made in writing and will be considered on an individual basis.
Home Material Kit
Participants receive with every semester by Kindermusik by Dalia course materials at no extra charge. Course materials will however not be able to be given out to students until the course fee has been paid.
We will be unable to include the cost of Home Material Kits under any circumstances in a refund if they have already been opened.
All participants are entitled to reschedule 1 lesson per course if a lesson needs to be missed for any reason. This must, however, be arranged prior to the starting time of the class which will be missed. There will be only one slot available per scheduled class for make-up students. For this reason make-ups need to be registered and approved before attending.
Extra make-up lessons may be granted, but must be agreed in writing (email suffices) prior to commencement of the course. We reserve the right to judge each case individually based on its merits.
Classes missed must be made-up within the current course and cannot be carried over to a subsequent semester. Make-up lessons are also non-transferrable.
Infants may attend Kindermusik Wiggle & Grow classes in an infant carrier (car seat bucket, sling, frontpack, backpack, etc.), bouncy, saucer, or other such holder for babies. Parent must be fully available to participate with enrolled child. All siblings are welcome to participate in the Laugh & Learn Sharing Time at the end of class. For the safety of our babies, older siblings are not permitted to attend Kindermusik Sing & Play. Sibling discounts are available - please contact me individually for details.
Sick Child Policy
Please be considerate of other children and adults in our classes. If you or your child is sick, please do not come to class. You/your child should be fever-free for 24 hours and have no contagious characteristics (rash, drainage, etc.)
Adult visitors such as grandparents or partners are welcome to attend our courses but must be registered and agreed prior to the class owing to space restrictions.
Classes cancelled by the educator due to insufficient enrolment will be fully refunded.
If the educator must cancel a lesson, an extra lesson will in most cases be added to the end of the course. If this is not possible we will reschedule a class on another day and time slot during the semester.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, suggestions or criticisms at any time!

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age can my child start Kindermusik?
No child is too young to start Kindermusik. We offer age-appropriate classes for children ages newborn to 7 years.
What happens in a Kindermusik class?
Class activities vary depending on your child's age. But most classes involve a mix of singing, instrument play, dancing and movement, story time, and other activities. Activities are designed to develop and strengthen your child's physical and neural functions, social-emotional skills, early literacy and early math, and much more.
How is Kindermusik different from other music programs for children?
So many reasons! Kindermusik is the original music and movement program. We have been doing this for over thirty years. While some music programs put children of all ages of together in one room, the majority of our classes are geared to specific ages. This means your child experiences class with “peers” and the activities match her developmental stage — just like in school. (We do offer a Family Time class where the whole family can participate in fun and learning together.)
Kindermusik is very interactive, and encourages bonding by involving parents and caregivers. Our programme is based on a mix of scientific research and learning philosophies of prominent musicians, composers, and development experts.
Will my child learn an instrument like piano, guitar, or violin at Kindermusik?
We firmly believe, and research supports, that a solid foundation of basic musical training is the best path for children. This is why we start with concepts like steady beat and fine and gross motor skills. Our Young Child programme, for ages five to seven, introduces stringed instruments (the dulcimer) and musical percussion instruments (the xylophone). Simply put, Kindermusik® is the best place to start.
Do I have to attend the classes with my child?
Most of our classes require that a parent or caregiver accompany the child. Our classes are specifically designed to spark interaction between the parent and child. You are your child's first and best teacher, and Kindermusik tries to strengthen that bond. In our classes for older ages, the children spend most of the class with just the teacher, but parents are included in a portion of every Kindermusik class.
Can my babysitter or AuPair bring my child?
We know parents today are busier than ever. If neither parent is available to attend classes with the child, it is acceptable that a babysitter/AuPair attend class with the child. To the extent possible, we prefer that the same individual attend class each week in order to ensure the child gets comfortable with a routine and the caregiver becomes familiar with the songs and activities.
What if my child doesn't participate in class?
Children learn in different ways. Simply because a child appears shy in class, that doesn't mean he or she is not learning. We hear from parents all the time whose children are quiet in class, but when they get home the child sings the songs and does the activities! Just remember that the home is the most important learning environment and you are your child's most important teacher. The classroom is intended to give you tools to bring the music and learning home.
Why are the home materials required?
At the core of the Kindermusik philosophy is the idea that the home is the most important learning environment and the parent is the child's best teacher. The home materials give parents the tools to extend the learning into the home. Using the home materials is the most effective way to get the full Kindermusik experience and ensure your child is truly benefiting from early exposure to music and movement.
How can I make a payment of my course fees?
Payments are accepted either in cash or by electronic transfer into the account below:
